Location
Most of the tutoring I do takes place at the student's home. However, over time I have come to realize that many students seem to work better and more efficiently when working in a public library or bookstore, like a Barnes & Nobles. For me, I have no preference in the location and I like to leave that decision to the student or parent.
Regular Rates
My rates are considered below average when compared to what other tutors of similar educational backgrounds are charging. I strongly believe in and enjoy what I teach, otherwise I wouldn't be contributing so much time to it.
I charge flat rates depending on the number of hours we meet per week.
2-3 hours per week = $40/hour
4 or more hours per week = $35/hour
If you don't want to commit to a certain number of hours and per week and prefer to just pay as you go, the rate is $45/hr.
Discounts may be negotiated depending on the location and number of hours per week.
Please give at least a 24 hour notice if a session needs to be changed or canceled to avoid a one hour rate charge.
Group Rates
The rate is $25 per student per hour with no minimum quantity of hours.
Prices may vary depending on the distance I need to travel.
